Congratulations to Emilia Camejo!

Emilia has been with us for nearly a year now and has developed a special connection with many of the student participants, especially the ones she worked with 1:1 over the summer. She also has made a huge contribution securing toys (and slime which the children LOVE) that we redistributed as prizes during the Chess Tournament, as Christmas presents, and other treats. While the vast majority of our volunteers are high school students, Emilia is in dental school and yet remains committed to her weekly shift. We are lucky to have Emilia with her kind, quiet, and patient presence each week.
